Echoing the peaceful, calm and perfectly captured background in Dmitry Kirshner’s photograph Waiting I, my journey along the pier didn’t stand quietly and wait but wove its way into my imagination. The wooden planks became a progression of colour, the handrails, a clear summer night and the pier edge, a step into endless time.
