This piece is a combination of the luscious suede-like hand-dyed Cherrywood cottons and an electric pink and lime green stylized Artichoke print created by the world-renowned designer, Kaffe Fassett. I have trapuntoed (gently stuffed) each of the artichokes to create a slight 3D effect on the front while doing some interesting applique work on the back to create its own unique look.
