Just like an almost transparent strand of silk, strength doesn’t have to be big or loud or aggressive. A spider’s web, barely visible is what symbolizes the quietness and courage of standing by your convictions and doing what you feel is right. The soul within the swirl of the web shines brightly through the many layers of life reminding us to stay true and remain strong.
Representing STRENGTH in the artist’s 2018 solo exhibit ‘Feeling from Without and Within’.
Currently part of the Textile and Fibre Artists of Manitoba exhibit ICE until December 2023.
