A dozen roses for the table laid on the table! To me, the heirloom or ‘old garden’ rose is a beautiful soft pink colour with many delicate petal layers and a fragrant aroma. Using the traditional Log Cabin square as a base, the pinks and salmons from my fabric stash have been transformed into a fibre bouquet. The cherry red batik on the back represents one of the most beautiful of the heirloom roses, The Prince’s Trust.
